Our team

Built around product knowledge and better service

Meds Cafe is led by CEO Joshua Covert, a Michigan cannabis attorney who served as the company's legal counsel before taking over as CEO in 2021. Joshua is also the founder of Michigan Cannabis Lawyers and a partner at the Nichols Law Firm. His legal career includes landmark Michigan cannabis cases, the MI Legalize ballot initiative that led to Proposal 1 in 2018, and over a decade of advocacy for patient and consumer rights.

Joshua has been featured on WZZM 13, MLive, The Smokin' Rope Podcast, and as a speaker at Ann Arbor Hash Bash. Al Witt — caregiver and cannabis community advocate — is also part of the Meds Cafe story.
